nice to meet you!

Hello! I moved to Philadelphia in 2004 and quickly became passionate about our city. My primary goals are to help tell your story, extend your reach within our community, and align with your brand and style. You can rely on me to work within a solid integrated communications plan, write compelling copy for your target audiences, and drive readership for greater impact.

My perfectionist personality led to a career as a young editor in financial services, where I could wax poetic about the Oxford comma and re-write entire paragraphs with glee. This quickly transitioned into marketing and communications roles, which is how I got here. For fun, you can hear me on an episode of The Pulse or read about my recent talk

My background includes writing and editing for local tourism sites, financial services firms, non-profits, universities, and corporations. I have contributed to social media, digital, print, PR, web, and crisis communications. Let me help you take complicated information and make it accessible to your audience.

I have a B.A. from the University of Richmond and an M.A. from The University of the Arts (see, I love Philadelphia!).

I am currently accepting assignments! Contact me directly at clayeditorial@gmail.com.
